Self Employed Nail Technician

We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Nail Technician to operate independently, providing professional nail and beauty services to clients. As a self-employed practitioner, you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule and build your client base, delivering exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment. The role involves applying nail enhancements, offering makeup application, and ensuring clients leave satisfied with their experience. Responsibilities

• Perform a range of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art
• Provide professional makeup application services tailored to client preferences
• Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace in accordance with health and safety standards
• Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable treatments or products
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
• Manage appointments efficiently, ensuring punctuality and organisation
• Keep up-to-date with the latest beauty trends and techniques in nail care and makeup application
• Handle customer queries professionally, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role within the beauty industry
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients
• Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism and attentiveness
• Competence in makeup application is desirable but not essential; training can be provided if necessary
• Fluency in English is required for clear communication with clients and suppliers
• Self-motivated with organisational skills to manage your own appointments and business operations
• Valid certification or licence in nail technology or beauty therapy (where applicable)

Pay: £13.00-£32.08 per hour
