About Us

Safe Demolition and Dismantling Services Ltd is an established demolition contractor specialising in demolition, dismantling, soft strip, site clearance and associated works.

We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking and motivated individuals to join our site team for a demolition project based in Swansea.

These positions are temporary, with the potential for permanent employment for suitable candidates, subject to business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertaking general demolition activities.
• Assisting with demolition, soft strip and site clearance operations.
• Segregating, handling and removing demolition materials and waste.
• Assisting plant operators and other site personnel as required.
• Maintaining clean, safe and organised working areas.
• Following site-specific risk assessments, method statements and health and safety procedures.
• Working effectively as part of a team to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience within demolition or the construction industry is desirable.
• Valid CSCS or CCDO card appropriate to the role.
• Valid UTR number and CIS registration required for self-employed subcontractors.
• Good understanding of construction site health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking, with a positive attitude towards work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Own transport is desirable but not essential.
• Must be able to reliably attend the project site in Swansea.
• Additional qualifications and training would be advantageous.

Contract Details

The positions are initially temporary, with self-employed subcontract arrangements available where appropriate under employment status rules.

There may be an opportunity for permanent employment for suitable candidates, depending on performance and business requirements.
