Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle to complete multiple stops throughout designated routes, ensuring punctual deliveries.
• Load and unload cargo, often requiring heavy lifting and careful handling to prevent damage.
• Communicate clearly with clients and dispatch teams to confirm delivery details and address any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection records.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Manage your schedule efficiently to maximize productivity while adhering to legal driving hours.

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role, demonstrating reliability and efficiency.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong commercial driving skills with knowledge of traffic laws and safety procedures.
• Warehouse experience helpful for understanding cargo handling and storage protocols.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively during loading and unloading processes.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to manage multiple stops independently.
