  • Accurately read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Safely and competently use joinery tools and workshop machinery.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Ensure completed work meets our quality standards and project specifications.
  • Work effectively alongside the Workshop Foreman, Project Managers and wider team to meet project deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during projects.
  • Help maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment.
  • Assist with materials, tools and workshop stock as required.
  • Be willing to learn and further develop your skills.
  • Be flexible to changing project requirements, including occasional travel and longer hours where required.

Requirements:

  • Carpentry / Joinery qualification.
  • At least 1 year's industry experience in a similar role.
  • Basic understanding of a workshop environment.
  • Good practical joinery skills.
  • Ability to use joinery tools and machinery competently.
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
  • PASMA.
  • IPAF.

If you have a passion for high-quality joinery, take pride in your workmanship and think you would be a great addition to our subcontracting workshop team, we would love to hear from you.
