Make a Difference Through Personalised Education

Sentio Inclusive are looking for experienced and passionate self-employed tutors across Suffolk to deliver high-quality alternative provision support to children and young people who are unable to access mainstream education.

Our learners may have SEND, SEMH needs, anxiety, school avoidance, medical needs, or may be at risk of exclusion. Sessions are typically delivered on a one-to-one basis in the home, community settings, at school, or online.

  • Build positive and trusting relationships with students and families.
  • Track and report on learner progress and engagement after each session.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of educational and emotional needs.
  • Maintain professional standards and safeguarding responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or supporting young people.
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrable tutoring experience.

Desirable

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience with SEND, SEMH, Autism, ADHD, or EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance).
  • Experience working within alternative provision or outreach education.
