Responsibilities

• Safely operate your own van to deliver packages and goods to various locations within designated areas
• Handle goods with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring items are secure during transit
• Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and mileage for invoicing and compliance purposes
• Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure your van remains in safe working condition and report any issues promptly
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe transportation at all times

Experience

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role with a focus on commercial driving
• Valid driving license suitable for heavy or commercial vehicles
• Prior experience in warehouse environments or handling heavy lifting is advantageous
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
• Knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and delivery best practices
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a self-employed capacity
