SEMI-TRAILER ASSEMBLER

Located in Woodend, Barker Trailers have been in the business of manufacturing high-quality semi-trailers in Australia since 1974. A proud family run business with over 150 staff across 2 sites (Maryborough/Woodend), we pride ourselves in our quality, innovative approach to design and manufacturing processes, and a safety-first approach.

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Semi-Trailer Assembler to join our Final Assembly team. This is a hands-on role offering a variety of tasks across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assembly.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general assembly of mechanical and hydraulic components
• Carry out electrical assembly tasks
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Complete assembly work in line with manufacturer standards and timelines
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment

About You

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential
• Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and solid work ethic
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and basic numeracy are essential

The position is fulltime – 38hrs per week. Parttime will be considered.
