Semicon Demand Planning Senior Specialist (Tme Series , Python)

Role Summary

Improving demand forecasting and planning by using data analytics, statistical modelling, and machine learning.

Build forecasting solutions, analyse business data, automate planning processes, and work with cross-functional teams to support better business decisions and supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain statistical forecasting models using Python, R, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Manage forecast and pricing data in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
• Collaborate with Marketing and other teams to improve demand forecasting models.
• Build machine learning solutions to automate planning processes.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks, and business opportunities.
• Create dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Continuously improve forecasting methods and planning processes.
• Work closely with Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Commercial, and IT teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science).
• 2+ years' experience with:
• Python development.
• Time series forecasting (univariate, multivariate, and ensemble models).
• SQL or similar database technologies.
• Power BI or other BI/visualisation tools.
• 1+ year of cloud platform experience (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.
• Experience in supply chain or demand planning is preferred.
• Experience with SAP IBP is an advantage.
