Semiconductor Production Operator — Training Provided

The Job

Join NVE Corporation and help manufacture advanced spintronic and semiconductor products in our specialized cleanroom facility.

You will operate manufacturing equipment, inspect and measure silicon wafers, and work alongside experienced technicians, engineers, and scientists to produce high-quality products. No semiconductor experience is required. We provide hands-on training to help you succeed.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, pays attention to detail, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate semiconductor manufacturing equipment for thin-film deposition, photolithography, etching, annealing, and plating.
• Carefully handle, inspect, and measure silicon wafers to verify product quality.
• Record production data and measurements, and learn to monitor process performance using statistical process control (SPC) charts.
• Manage multiple production tasks while meeting quality standards and production schedules.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and scientists to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes.
• Follow cleanroom, equipment, chemical handling, and safety procedures, and promptly report equipment, process, or quality concerns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math and computer skills, including accurate data entry.
• Strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow written procedures and handle delicate materials carefully.
• Willingness to learn technical skills, communicate effectively, and work as part of a team.
• Manufacturing or semiconductor experience is a plus, but is not required.

Training and Career Development

NVE provides hands-on training in semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment operation, quality control, and cleanroom procedures.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
