Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team, providing a safe and engaging environment for children. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood education. As a Play Worker, you will be responsible for managing play activities, ensuring the well-being of children, and fostering their development through creative play.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education principles.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build positive relationships and foster a supportive community.
• Drive initiatives that encourage children's social skills, creativity, and physical development through structured play.
• Maintain a clean and organised play environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and suitable for use.
• Observe children's behaviour and development, providing feedback to parents or guardians as necessary.

Experience

• Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
• A background in early childhood education or related fields will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth through play-based learning.
