About the role

The Prasarnmit Primary International Programme (PPiP) is an international curriculum programme under Srinakharinwirot University: Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Elementary). It offers a high-quality education combining the UK-based curriculum with Thai cultural values. This position is a Learning Support role within the International Programme, serving as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate pupils' individual abilities and specific learning needs
• Provide guidance to class teachers and parents on supporting pupils to reach their full potential
• Work collaboratively with class teachers to plan and deliver differentiated teaching and learning in line with pupils' abilities
• Support pupils in the classroom and provide additional instruction or enrichment activities, as appropriate
• Monitor pupils' progress and development continuously, and report regularly to senior leaders, teachers, and parents
• Promote pupils' holistic development across physical, emotional, social, and intellectual domains
• Observe pupils' behaviour, provide guidance, and support positive behaviour both in and out of the classroom
• Liaise with external specialists (e.g. doctors, educational psychologists, occupational therapists) as required
• Support pupils in developing positive character traits, values, and competencies in accordance with the Education Act, as well as the school's ethos, identity, and the aims of the International Programme
• Supervise pupils during daily routines, including lining up, mealtimes, rest periods, and off-site or out-of-classroom learning activities

About you

• Must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Must have strong English proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
• Teaching experience in an international school is preferred
