SEN Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students' academic and personal development. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives through innovative teaching methods and personalised support.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in accordance with curriculum standards and student needs
• Lead a small team of Teaching assistans
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and respect
• Develop customised learning materials and activities to cater to diverse learning styles
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and behavioural reports
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop school programmes and extracurricular activities
• Support students' social and emotional well-being by fostering a safe and nurturing atmosphere
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required

Qualifications

• recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent)
• Proven experience in teaching or tutoring within relevant age groups or subjects (nice-to-have)
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in British English
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
• Passion for education and commitment to student success
• Knowledge of current educational practices and curriculum standards
