Senior 2D Designer

About The Role OMQ is looking for a Senior 2D Graphic Designer to create key visuals, presentations, signage and environmental graphics for our events, exhibitions and brand activations. Based in Cairo, you will build compelling creative and technical proposals, supervise the Junior 2D team, deliver print-ready and screen-ready production files, and support the 3D team with graphics, logos, patterns and textures.

Key Responsibilities

• Create key visuals, layouts, presentations, signage and environmental graphics for events, exhibitions and stages.
• Build technical and creative proposals and pitch decks with clear visual hierarchy and storytelling.
• Assign 2D tasks, delegate work and review Junior 2D designers' output.
• Prepare and check print-ready files, screen graphics, LED content and production exports for accuracy.
• Provide graphics, logos, patterns and textures to the 3D team to ensure consistent brand applications.
• Maintain visual consistency and brand alignment in line with the Art Director's creative direction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in graphic design, including experience supervising junior designers.
• Proven experience in event design, exhibition design, event branding, signage or environmental graphic design.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign; After Effects is a plus.
• Strong skills in presentation design using PowerPoint or Keynote.
• Solid knowledge of prepress, print production and large-format printing standards.
• Strong typography, layout and visual hierarchy skills.
• Strong portfolio showing key visuals, proposals, signage and event graphics.
