We are looking for a highly experienced Senior 3D Artist to join our architectural visualisation team, working primarily on architecture and property development projects in Australia interiors and exteriors.

This is a senior production role. We are looking for someone who can take architectural information, understand the design intent and produce high-quality photorealistic imagery efficiently with limited supervision.

MINIMUM 5 YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL ARCHVIZ EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

REQUIRED SKILLS

You MUST:

• Have 5–10+ years of professional experience in architectural visualisation.
• Be highly proficient in 3ds Max.
• Be highly proficient in Corona Renderer OR V-Ray.
• Be highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop and professional post-production.
• Have a strong understanding of architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections and architectural documentation.
• Be able to accurately model architecture from CAD drawings, PDFs and other architectural information.
• Have a strong understanding of materials, lighting, composition, photography and architectural detailing.
• Be able to produce photorealistic exterior and interior architectural images.
• Have experience working efficiently under commercial project deadlines.
• Have your OWN professional computer/workstation capable of handling complex architectural scenes.
• Have access to your own required 3D software and production software.
• Have reliable high-speed internet suitable for transferring large 3D files and attending video meetings.
• Be comfortable communicating professionally in English.
• Be available to work in the SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA TIME ZONE.
• Be comfortable attending online client meetings when required.

PORTFOLIO IS MANDATORY.

Applications without a professional architectural visualisation portfolio will NOT be considered.

AI + NEW TECHNOLOGY

We are actively integrating AI into our architectural visualisation workflow.

You should already have a basic understanding of current AI image-generation and image-editing workflows and, more importantly, be interested in learning and experimenting with new technology.

Specific AI workflow training will be provided.

Access to the AI models and tools required for our workflow will be supplied by the studio at NO ADDITIONAL COST to you.

You will be expected to continuously learn and adopt new tools as our production process develops.

YOUR ROLE

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and managing 3ds Max architectural scenes.
• Architectural and contextual 3D modelling.
• Importing, cleaning and optimising supplied architectural models.
• Creating realistic materials and textures.
• Lighting interior and exterior scenes.
• Setting up cameras and compositions.
• Producing clay renders and camera studies for review.
• Producing high-quality final renders using Corona or V-Ray.
• Photoshop post-production and image finishing.
• Using AI tools as part of the visualisation and post-production workflow.
• Responding accurately to architectural markups and client feedback.
• Coordinating with other 3D artists working on the same project.
• Participating in internal project reviews.
• Occasionally attending client meetings to understand feedback directly.
• Occasionally communicating directly with clients regarding minor production matters.
• Maintaining organised project files, naming conventions and studio standards.
• Delivering work within agreed hours, deadlines and project budgets.

AUSTRALIAN PROJECT EXPERIENCE

Most of our projects are located in Australia.

Previous experience working with Australian architects, developers or architectural documentation is highly regarded.

You should be comfortable interpreting professional architectural documentation and understanding that accuracy to the approved design is extremely important.

PAID 20-HOUR WORK TEST

Shortlisted applicants will be offered a PAID 20-HOUR PRODUCTION TEST.

You will receive a real architectural visualisation brief and project information.

You will have a maximum of 20 paid working hours to demonstrate how far you can progress the project.

We are interested in more than the final image. We will also assess:

• How quickly you understand the architectural brief.
• How efficiently you organise the project.
• Your modelling speed and accuracy.
• Your ability to set up cameras and composition.
• Your lighting and material skills.
• Your ability to prioritise within a limited number of hours.
• Your communication and response to feedback.
• Your overall visual judgement.
• The quality achieved within the allocated time.

The test is specifically designed to evaluate REAL PRODUCTION SPEED as well as visual quality.

• You are looking primarily for a modelling-only role with no responsibility for producing finished imagery.

We are looking for an experienced artist who can become a long-term member of the studio and take responsibility for projects from 3D setup through to final delivery.

Pay: Php16,299.62 - Php56,396.29 per month
