Senior 3D Visualization Artist (SolidWorks) - Remote

We're looking for an experienced Industrial Designer to bring retail and shopper marketing concepts to life—from initial idea through to production and installation. You'll create eye-catching retail displays, develop technical drawings, collaborate with clients and production teams, and ensure every design is practical, commercially viable, and built to perform in-store.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced agency environment and has a strong background designing retail displays for major Australian retailers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design retail displays including FSDUs, CDUs, permanent fixtures, and POS materials
• Develop concepts, 3D renders, and production-ready technical drawings
• Create innovative, functional, and commercially viable retail solutions
• Collaborate with creative, account management, and production teams throughout each project
• Work with manufacturers to ensure designs are accurately produced and installed
• Ensure designs meet retailer specifications and manufacturing requirements
• Apply sustainable design principles and recommend suitable materials
• Leverage AI and emerging design technologies to improve ideation and workflows
• Attend site visits and installations when required

About You

• 6 years experience in industrial design within a retail display, shopper marketing, or POS agency
• Proven experience designing FSDUs, CDUs, permanent displays, and retail fixtures - PREFERRED
• Strong knowledge of Australian retail environments, particularly FMCG, hardware, pharmacy, or consumer electronics - PREFERRED
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks, KeyShot, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience producing technical manufacturing drawings
• Familiarity with AI design tools for concept development and visualization
• Understanding of sustainable design and manufacturing practices
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related discipline - PREFERRED
