Senior A/C Technician

1. Air Conditioning Maintenance & Repair

• Perform installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all types of AC systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Ducted Split AC Units
• Ceiling Cassette AC Units
• Wall-Mounted Split AC Units
• DX (Direct Expansion) Units
• Package AC Units
• Floor Standing AC Units
• FCU (Fan Coil Units)
• AHU (Air Handling Units)
• Diagnose and rectify AC cooling problems, refrigerant leakage, compressor failures and electrical faults.
• Repair and replace compressors, condenser motors, blower motors, fan motors, capacitors, contactors and other AC components.
• Perform refrigerant recovery, pressure testing, vacuuming and refrigerant charging according to manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct evaporator coil, condenser coil, blower, drain tray and filter cleaning.
• Identify and rectify AC water leakage, drainage blockage, excessive vibration and abnormal noise.
• Carry out copper piping, brazing, insulation and refrigerant leakage rectification.
• Check and maintain thermostats, temperature sensors and AC control systems.

2. Electrical Knowledge & Troubleshooting

• Strong knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.

• Ability to read and understand AC electrical wiring diagrams and control circuits.

• Troubleshoot electrical faults in AC units, including PCB, relay, capacitor, contactor and motor failures.

• Knowledge of MCCB, MCB, RCCB, ELCB, overload relays and electrical protection devices.

• Troubleshoot compressor electrical failures, motor winding faults and insulation issues.

• Knowledge of DOL starters, star-delta starters and motor control circuits.

• Check voltage, current, resistance, continuity and insulation resistance using appropriate testing instruments.

• Identify and rectify loose connections, short circuits, earth faults and electrical overload conditions.

• Knowledge of VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) operation and basic troubleshooting.

• Perform safe electrical isolation and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

• ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC, Electrical or a related technical field.

• Minimum 7–10 years of practical HVAC maintenance experience.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior technician or similar role preferred.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
