About the role

Belton Industrial (Thailand) Ltd. is seeking a Senior ACA Maintenance Engineering Engineer to join our engineering team in Pathum Thani. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of our advanced control and automation (ACA) systems. As a Senior ACA Maintenance Engineering Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance strategies, leading technical initiatives, and mentoring junior engineering staff. This position is strategically important to our operations, directly contributing to maximising equipment uptime, reducing operational costs, and maintaining our competitive advantage in the industrial sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programmes for ACA systems and associated equipment
• Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics, and performance assessments of control and automation systems
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic faults in ACA systems, utilising advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies
• Lead the planning and execution of maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to production operations
• Prepare detailed maintenance documentation, including technical reports, work schedules, and maintenance records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement optimisation strategies
• Mentor and supervise junior maintenance engineering staff, providing technical guidance and professional development
• Manage spare parts inventory and vendor relationships to ensure timely availability of critical components
• Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions
• Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies in ACA systems and maintenance practices

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in maintenance engineering, with at least 5 years specialising in advanced control and automation systems
• In-depth knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and related technologies
• Strong proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques for complex electronic systems
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programmes
• Excellent understanding of industrial safety standards and best practices in maintenance operations
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring technical teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to make sound technical decisions
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Thai is advantageous
• Professional certifications such as IEC 61508, ISO 55001, or similar maintenance-related qualifications are highly desirable
