At Capitole , we are looking for a Senior Accessibility Frontend Engineer to join a high-impact international project with one of our top clients.

What will you do?

You will be responsible for improving and maintaining the company's shared component library, focusing on identifying, debugging, and resolving accessibility issues across reusable UI components.

Your day-to-day:

✅ Investigate and solve complex accessibility defects

✅ Validate solutions against WCAG standards and real user behavior

✅ Improve the quality and accessibility of reusable components

✅ Prevent recurring accessibility issues through sustainable solutions

✅ Work autonomously in a highly technical, execution-focused environment

What are we looking for?

🔹 Strong hands-on experience in web accessibility (expert level)

🔹 Deep understanding of WCAG 2.1 / 2.2, WAI-ARIA and Section 508

🔹 Experience debugging accessibility issues in shared component libraries

🔹 Experience working across different frontend technologies (React, Angular, Web Components, SPA and non-SPA applications)

🔹 Ability to work independently and drive solutions end-to-end

🔹 Strong communication skills in English

Nice to have

⭐ Experience working with design systems or enterprise component libraries

⭐ Experience collaborating with UX and Design teams

⭐ Knowledge of accessibility testing tools and assistive technologies
