Senior Account Assistant

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate account records for all customer accounts, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing
• Reconcile account statements and resolve discrepancies with customers and internal teams promptly
• Process purchase orders, sales invoices and credit notes with precision and attention to detail
• Monitor aged receivables and follow up on outstanding payments to maintain healthy cash flow
• Prepare regular account reports and statements for management review
• Liaise with customers to address billing queries and provide outstanding customer service
• Support the coordination of warehouse transactions and logistics documentation as required
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures and reconciliations
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all company policies and accounting procedures
