Senior Account Assistant/ Executive

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ability to read and write in Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and handle relevant documentation Senior Account Assistant / Executive to join our team in Subang Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in our Financial Accounting & Reporting operations.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, reports, and accounts
• Performing financial analysis and providing insights to support management decision-making
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and guidance
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the development of accounting systems and controls
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

What we're looking for

• Ability to read and write in Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and handle relevant documentation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Accounting role, preferably within the Financial Accounting & Reporting domain
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Accounting Standards and relevant financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
• Proficient in the use of SQL accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
• A team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
