Senior Account

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team . This full-time/Contract basis role will be based in Vista Industrial Park, Kuching, Sarawak. The location is between Stutong and Pending. Safe and hygiene working environment.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise, Ensure smooth preparation and summary of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Monitoring accounts payable, accounts receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
• Provide financial advice and support to business units and management
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, if applicable

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
• Strong proficiency in financial reporting, accounting principles, and financial analysis
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated experience in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial processes
• Proficient in the use of accounting software (especially Autocount)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
