Senior Account Executive

About the role

This is a Senior Accountant position responsible for independently managing the full accounting cycle with exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, tax, and audit. You will have the opportunity to guide junior accounting team members.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts, including AP, AR, and GL
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Produce timely management reports for business review
• Manage daily accounting operations and monitor cash flow
• Perform bank, balance-sheet, and ledger reconciliations
• Resolve billing issues, unapplied receipts, and supplier invoice discrepancies
• Monitor customer collections and supplier payments
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Prepare tax computations, audit schedules, and supporting documents
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant external parties

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Relevant experience handling full sets of accounts independently
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Experience supervising junior employees is an advantage
