SENIOR ACCOUNTING EXECUTIVE POSITION

1️⃣ Job Responsibilities:

• Handle full sets of accounts and manage day-to-day accounting operations for assigned clients.

• Ensure all accounting transactions are accurately recorded and properly maintained.

• Prepare and review accounting reports, including:

• Profit & Loss (P&L)

• Balance Sheet

• Management Accounts (MA)

• Cash Flow Statements

• Bank Reconciliation

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including monitoring outstanding balances and payment status.

• Prepare and review quotations, invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.

• Handle monthly payroll processing and statutory contributions, including:

• EPF

• SOCSO

• EIS

• PCB

• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure accounts are completed within the required deadlines.

• Liaise with clients, auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, suppliers, and internal teams on accounting and financial matters.

• Assist in audit and tax preparation by providing the necessary accounting schedules, supporting documents, and information.

• Review accounting records to identify discrepancies and ensure proper and accurate financial reporting.

• Maintain proper filing and documentation through Google Drive, internal systems, and hard copy records.

• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting team members when required.

• Ensure all assigned accounting tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within the required timeline.

2️⃣ Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in accounting or a related position.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounting procedures.

• MUST be familiar with:

• AutoCount

• SQL Accounting System

• Microsoft Excel

• Google Drive / Google Sheets

• Experience in handling full sets of accounts is highly preferred.

• Experience in payroll processing and statutory contribution calculations.

• Familiarity with audit and tax preparation processes.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of assigned clients/accounts.

• Strong attention to detail with good organizational and time management skills.

• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to manage multiple clients/tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

• Candidates with experience in an accounting firm will have an added advantage.

3️⃣ Language Requirements:

• Must be able to communicate fluently in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken, to liaise with Mandarin- and English-speaking clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.

• Ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia will be an added advantage.

• Must possess own transport.
