SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and monthly reconciliations.
• Oversee and review accounts payable/receivable transactions.
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and statutory bodies.
• Monitor and improve internal controls, accounting processes, and reporting systems.
• Support management with financial insights for decision-making.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and provide guidance where necessary.
• Handle ad-hoc finance or administrative projects assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP / IFRS).
• Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., AutoCount, SQL, or other ERP systems).
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modelling an advantage).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
