Senior Account Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join Brac Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd in a full-time position based in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. This is a strategic role within our Financial Accounting & Reporting function, where you will play a pivotal part in managing our accounting operations and delivering accurate financial reporting. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting activities that are critical to the organization's financial health and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts and responsible for month-end closing and other financial matters. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions.
• Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
• Responsible for the overall preparation of management and financial reports in compliance with management requirements including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow statement.
• Collaborate with company secretary, auditors, bankers and tax agents pertaining to account and tax related matters.
• Assist in the day-to-day accounting operations and departmental activities.
• Manage payroll & statutory payment.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
• To handle e-invoicing and SST related matters.

What we're looking for

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Proficient in QNE accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Candidates who can start immediately / able to short notice are preferred.
