Senior Account Executive

About the role

Senior Account Executive role involving financial reporting, general ledger management, audit support, and accounting compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports, bank reconciliation, intercompany & balance sheet reconciliation within reporting timelines
• Monitor general ledger accounts and investigate variance and discrepancies
• Coordinate closing activities with internal departments and ensure assigned tasks are completed within reporting timelines
• Assist in audit preparation by providing required documents and supporting schedules
• Assist in preparing financial data and schedules to support tax matters, as and when required
• Assist in secretarial matters and preparation of documents
• Ensure financial compliance with all statutory requirements including MPERS and companies Act
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned from time to time

About you

• Degree/Diploma holder in Accounting/Finance with minimum 3 years of working experience
• Supervisory experience in an accounting capacity is strongly preferred
• Experience in retail, manufacturing or agriculture industry will be added advantages
• Able to converse in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in accounting system (AutoCount preferred) and Microsoft
