Senior Account Manager – Datacenter Colocation

We're working with a fast-growing European Datacenter operator that is expanding its German footprint, with new capacity coming online across several regions. They're hiring Senior Account Managers to drive new business in Germany's South, Central and North regions.

This is a hunting role. Most of your time goes on finding, engaging and closing new colocation customers across mid-market, enterprise and the public sector, then growing those accounts once they're live. You'll own the full sales cycle, from building your own pipeline through to negotiating and signing contracts, with the support of internal technical and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Building and running a new-logo pipeline in your region
• Selling colocation, alongside connectivity, managed services and hybrid cloud
• Leading commercial negotiations and closing multi-year contracts
• Growing new accounts through cross-sell and upsell once they're onboard
• Keeping your pipeline and forecast accurate in Salesforce

Qualifications

• Proven colocation sales experience: you've sold space, power and racks to end customers and can show deals you've closed yourself
• A strong track record of winning new business, not only managing an inherited book
• 5+ years in B2B sales of IT or infrastructure solutions
• A good grasp of Datacenter infrastructure, connectivity and cloud
• Fluent German and good English
• Based in, or able to work from, one of the regional hubs
