Senior Account Manager

The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented with a drive to achieve goals and maintain a great customer experience. You will be able to suggest forward-thinking ideas to promote our brand and work closely with clients to understand their needs. This individual will have excellent communication abilities and negotiation skills since they will be responsible for sales and new business development.

Responsibilities

• Work with key accounts to provide product solutions, develop new business, and to ensure satisfaction
• Tracks schedules, customer action items, and commercial issues related to assigned programs.
• Accesses customer trend information and develops strategies.
• Responds to customer Request for Quotes and follows up on all market opportunities.
• Responsible for seeing that commercial agreements are fulfilled (i.e., annual cost reductions, payments, accruals, etc.)
• Reviews accuracy of Purchase Orders and monitors proper invoicing. Supports Autoliv Product Development Systems (APDS)
• Serve as primary day-to-day liaison with Nissan client and maintain positive ongoing relationships
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while interfacing with different internal and external contact

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related
• Mandatory experience working with Nissan as a customer
• 5+ years of experience as an Account Manager and/or Program Manager
• Familiarity with sales performance metrics
• Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills
