Senior Accountant – AP & GL

Job Responsibilities:

• Close monthly accounts and prepare financial statements, including balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow statement, and notes to financial statements, ensuring completion within reporting deadlines.
• Prepare invoices with supporting documents and record all accounts receivable transactions across various customer segments.
• Record accounts payable and expense transactions, prepare payment vouchers for management approval, process vendor payments on due dates, and coordinate with the finance department for check issuance.
• Post monthly adjusting entries for revenue and expense accounts to ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with solid exposure to Accounts Payable and General Ledger functions.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and month-end closing processes.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Office, especially Excel.
