About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, reconciliations, taxation-related work, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate should have strong practical accounting knowledge and the ability to independently handle accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and review day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, vouchers, journals, and bank reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and accounting summaries.
• Manage GST-related accounting and support GST return preparation.
• Assist with TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Perform regular reconciliation of bank, customer, vendor, and ledger accounts.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting work.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding accounting matters.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Practical experience with Tally Prime/ERP and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Good communication and professional working attitude.

Preferred Candidate

A candidate with hands-on experience in a CA firm, consultancy, accounting firm, or corporate accounting department will be preferred.
