Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong practical knowledge of UAE accounting, VAT, and Corporate Tax. The candidate must have individual hands-on experience in Corporate Tax filing and VAT filing, along with strong working knowledge of Tally and Zoho Books.

The role requires frequent travel between the company locations in Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman to review and monitor accounting activities. The candidate must be comfortable with approximately 70% travel as part of the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review day-to-day accounting activities across company locations.
• Visit company offices in Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman regularly to check and monitor accounts.
• Conduct weekly visits to different company locations as required.
• Review financial records, transactions, ledgers, and supporting documents.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Independently handle UAE Corporate Tax calculations and filing.
• Handle UAE VAT calculations, reconciliations, and VAT return filing.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance and documentation.
• Reconcile bank, customer, supplier, and other financial accounts.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial records.
• Monitor accounting procedures and identify discrepancies or irregularities.
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records at all company locations.
• Provide management with accurate financial information and reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting, VAT, and Corporate Tax regulations.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Strong practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Individual hands-on experience in preparing and filing UAE Corporate Tax returns is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with VAT return preparation and filing.
• Tally and Zoho Books experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices and financial reporting.
• Must be comfortable conducting regular/weekly visits to company locations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage accounts across multiple locations.

Salary will be offered based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and current market standards.

Candidates with strong UAE experience and proven hands-on experience in Corporate Tax filing, VAT filing, Tally, Zoho Books, and multi-location accounting supervision will be preferred.

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
