Senior Accountant

An accountant manages an organization's financial records to ensure accuracy, compliance with tax regulations, and overall fiscal health. They are responsible for processing transactions, preparing financial statements, and delivering reliable data to support strategic business decisions.

Core Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain key financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Bookkeeping & Reconciliation: Process accounts payable/receivable, manage payroll, and reconcile bank statements against general ledgers to prevent discrepancies.
• Compliance & Auditing: Compute taxes, prepare returns, and facilitate statutory audits while adhering to recognized standards like GAAP or IFRS.
• Budgeting & Analysis: Develop financial forecasts, analyze costs, and recommend cost-saving strategies to management.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Software: Proficiency in enterprise and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Tally) and advanced functions in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables).
• Analytical Thinking: Capability to interpret complex financial data to identify trends, risks, and discrepancies.
• Education: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• Certifications: Certifications such as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant) highly enhance job prospects and leadership potential

Pay: ₹14,282.17 - ₹45,431.50 per month
