About Us

Express Global Logistics is an international logistics company headquartered in Japan, specializing in the export of vehicles and auto parts Pakistan. We also provide customs clearance and transportation services across Japan. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Karachi office.

Position: Senior Accountant

We are seeking a hardworking, reliable, and career-oriented professional with strong accounting knowledge and proven experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum Bachelor's degree (Graduation) in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Candidates who are currently pursuing further education are not eligible.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accountant in a Freight Forwarding, Shipping, or Logistics company.
• Strong commitment to building a long-term career with our company (minimum 3–4 years).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations.
• Maintain Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Prepare bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle final accounts and financial statements.
• Manage taxation matters, including Sales Tax and Income Tax compliance.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and maintain accounting records.
• Monitor cash flow and expense control.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and management.
• Prepare management reports and support financial decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience in final accounts and taxation is mandatory.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: PKR 70,000 – 100,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
