Senior Accountant

About the role

Join us at Terumo as a Senior Accountant and play a key role in managing our full spectrum of accounting functions. If you are meticulous, analytical, and passionate about process improvement, you could be the financial expert we are looking for.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AP/AR, invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, and ensure accurate financial records
• Oversee full set of accounts: GL, fixed assets, and bank transactions
• Prepare journal entries, complete month-end/quarter-end/year-end closings, and deliver financial statements and management reports
• Perform variance analysis, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide actionable financial insights
• Maintain compliance with tax and statutory regulations
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to drive business objectives
• Liaise with auditors, vendors, and regulatory authorities
• Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements
• Take ownership of audit schedules and documentation
• Manage inventory accounting and support finance transformation initiatives

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy/Finance
• CPA/CA accreditation is an advantage
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience (Big 4/MNC/Regional experience is an advantage)
• Proficient in English, Microsoft Office, and Power BI; SAP/automation tools are a plus
• Meticulous, analytical, team-oriented, and resilient under pressure
