Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly disciplined Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations across multiple group entities.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that financial records, reconciliations, and reports are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.

You will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity and compliance, while supporting structured and scalable accounting processes.

This role requires someone who is organized, methodical, and accountable, with a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and the ability to manage multiple deadlines with precision.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3–5 years of accounting experience

Strong experience in:

• General accounting

• Reconciliations (bank, AP/AR, balance sheet)

• Month-end closing

Preferred Experience

• Multi-entity or international accounting exposure

• Experience with VAT filings (EU preferred)

• Intercompany transactions and audit support

• Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Odoo)

Core Responsibilities

A. Accounting Execution

• Perform month-end closings, reconciliations, VAT support, and reporting

• Ensure all deliverables are accurate, complete, and on time

B. Review & Quality Control

• Review reconciliations, reports, and adjustments

• Ensure all balances are properly supported and documented

• Maintain clear and structured working files

C. Documentation & Audit Readiness

• Maintain complete, traceable, and well-organized records

• Ensure all entries and adjustments are properly documented

• Keep all files audit-ready at all times

D. Team Support

• Review and support junior staff output

• Ensure consistent standards in documentation and processes

E. Risk Identification

• Identify issues in deadlines, reconciliations, or compliance

• Escalate risks early with clear explanation and context

5. Compliance & Control

• Ensure all reports and filings are accurate and properly supported

• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations

• Ensure no undocumented or unsupported entries

6. Performance Expectations

7. Work Arrangement

• This is a work onsite set up, our office is located at Cityscape Tower 2 Juana Osmena Street, Camputhaw, Cebu City
• Work-from-home arrangements may be considered after proven performance
