Senior Accountant

Elite Bespoke Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage accounting, financial reporting, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, reconciliations, and day-to-day finance activities across multiple company and client accounts.

The ideal candidate will have strong practical knowledge of UAE accounting and tax requirements, excellent control over financial records, and the ability to independently manage multiple assignments while meeting reporting and statutory deadlines.

Candidates with prior experience in a business consultancy, accounting firm, tax advisory firm, audit firm, chartered accountancy practice, corporate services firm, or other multi-client environment will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts, general ledgers, journals, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank, customer, supplier, intercompany, and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare and review UAE VAT calculations and VAT return submissions.
• Assist with UAE Corporate Tax registrations, computations, return preparation, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready accounting records.
• Prepare invoices, payment schedules, expense reports, receivable reports, and payable schedules.
• Monitor cash flow, outstanding receivables, payables, and ageing balances.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, clients, and relevant third parties.
• Support audit requirements, including preparation of schedules, reconciliations, supporting documents, and financial records.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee-related accounting entries where required.
• Ensure accounting records and filings comply with applicable UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and financial reporting requirements.
• Manage multiple client accounts and assignments simultaneously.
• Review accounting work and supporting schedules prepared by junior team members when required.
• Identify discrepancies, accounting errors, unreconciled balances, and documentation gaps and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper control of client and company financial information.
• Perform other accounting and finance responsibilities assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Hands-on experience in bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit preparation.
• Experience handling multiple companies or client accounts is highly preferred.
• Previous experience with an accounting, audit, tax, business consultancy, chartered accountancy, or corporate services firm is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including financial schedules and reconciliations.
• Ability to independently prepare and review financial records and supporting documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise assignments effectively.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, CMA, or CPA will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a multi-client accounting environment and can take ownership of assigned accounts from bookkeeping through reporting, tax compliance, reconciliation, and audit support.

The successful candidate should be organised, dependable, deadline-conscious, and capable of identifying accounting issues rather than simply recording transactions.

Experience working with UAE SMEs, free zone companies, mainland companies, and service businesses will be an added advantage.

Compensation

Salary starts from AED 2,500 per month.

Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's relevant UAE experience, technical capability, and overall suitability for the role.
