- Develop financial reports, analyses, and schedules using advanced Excel functions.
- Independently investigate project-accounting, billing, reconciliation and ERP issues; identify root causes, coordinate with appropriate stakeholders and bring matters to resolution.
- Oversee accounts receivable and collections.
- Review accounting staff’s work for accuracy, proper coding, documentation, and policy compliance.
- Supervise and train accounting staff and provide support across accounting functions as needed.
- Administer and support the project accounting ERP system and participate in upgrades and system improvements.
- Support accounts payable, payroll accounting, and employee expenses processing as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university is required.
- Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience, including at least three years of hands-on project accounting in a project-based, time-and-billing organization.
- Experience using a project-accounting ERP or professional-services automation system is required. BST Global experience is preferred; experience with Deltek Vantagepoint, Vision, Ajera, Unanet, or a comparable project ERP will be considered.
- Working knowledge of WIP accounting and paid-when-paid concepts
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, adjust priorities, and work independently in a deadline-driven environment
Schedule:
