About the role:
This opportunity is a critical finance role, responsible for the preparation of accurate and insightful financial, taxation and management reporting for the business.

• Manage monthly fund accounting and prepare financial reporting and NAV packs.
• Coordinate annual statutory reporting, external audits, distributions and tax returns.
• Prepare BAS/GST reporting, information for Board approval.
• Monitor debt compliance requirements.
• Prepare monthly NPI and capital expenditure reporting.
• Support property acquisitions, including reviewing settlement adjustments and liaising with property managers and internal finance teams.
• Assist with the establishment and onboarding of new funds and investment entities.
• Work closely with property managers, investment, asset management and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Assist with custody-related requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business or a related.
• CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Relevant experience within funds management, property, asset management.
• Strong technical accounting, financial reporting and analytical capabilities.
• Exposure to fund accounting, real estate investments, debt compliance, treasury or transaction-related activities will be highly regarded.
• Experience with accounting and reporting systems such as Xero and Sage Intacct would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail.
