Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in performing our day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance and providing accurate financial insights to support strategic decision-making. You will be responsible in the month-end close process, maintain the general ledger, reconciliation and schedules of various accounts.
Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Month-End Close: performs the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, investigating variances and ensuring the integrity of all financial data.
• Compliance & Tax: ensures compliance with all government agencies
• Process Improvement: Evaluate current accounting workflows and implement internal controls, automation, and best practices to improve efficiency.
• Financial Analysis: Performs variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Certifications: CPA is an advantage but not required
• Technical Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, advanced formulas).
• Hands-on experience with Accounting Systems
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, keen to details and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Exposure in multi cultural environment is an advantage

REQUIREMENTS

· A degree in Accountancy or Finance

· Atleast 3 years of work experience in Accounting and Finance

· CPA is an advantage but not required

· Experienced in manual accounting and systems accounting

· Familiarity with basic accounting principles.

· Knowledgeable in Reports (Vat, Income Tax, Withholding Tax)

· Efficient in Financial Statement Preparation (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows)

· Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular like managing spreadsheets, creating charts, and using advanced formulas.

· Has good organization and time management skills

· Professional manner and a strong ethical code.

· Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
