Harrex Group is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team

In this key role you will be responsible for providing proactive accountancy services to our customers, ensuring technical correctness and creating value for their business while ensuring commerciality for our firm.

You will be focused on:

 1.       Reviewing accounting work to ensure accuracy and technical correctness.

2.       Supporting and mentoring others to develop their skills and grow within the profession.

3.       Completion of accounting and project work to the highest standards.

4.       Proactively engaging in the culture of the firm.

You will have the following:

 1.       A minimum five years' post qualification experience as a CA or relevant CA firm experience.  More experienced applicants are also encouraged to apply.

2.       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

3.       Ability to use technology to gather, manipulate, analyse and communicate sound information.

4.       Great people skills including the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

5.       A willingness to ask the questions that matter and strive to learn and grow.

6.       A sense of fun.

This role offers flexibility around both hours and location, with part or full-time options available and the choice to work from our Gore or Invercargill offices, or remotely.
