Senior Accountant

Le Gray Beirut is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge and experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and fixed assets management, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the company’s Fixed Assets Register , ensuring that all assets are accurately recorded, classified, tagged, and updated.

• Monitor the complete fixed asset lifecycle, including acquisition, capitalization, transfers, disposals, write-offs, and depreciation .

• Conduct regular physical verification and reconciliation of fixed assets against accounting records and investigate discrepancies.

• Ensure proper supporting documentation and approvals are maintained for all fixed asset transactions.

• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure accurate identification, location, custody, and movement of company assets.

• Prepare fixed assets schedules and provide accurate information for month-end and year-end closing .

• Review depreciation calculations and ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies and procedures.

• Perform general accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of assigned accounts.

• Assist with monthly closing, financial reporting, audits, and other accounting requirements.

• Support the Finance team in maintaining accurate and reliable accounting records and internal controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry.

• Strong practical experience in Fixed Assets Management.

• Good knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting/POS systems.

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
