Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant – Group Reporting (CPA) is responsible for accurate financial accounting, statutory and management reporting, and the consolidation of ETK Rayong's financial results for ETK Group. The role supports compliance with applicable accounting standards, Thai tax regulations, BOI and customs requirements, and corporate policies, while providing reliable financial analysis to support management decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
• Prepare, review, and support the consolidation of ETK Rayong's statutory and management financial reports for submission to ETK Group in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, applicable EU reporting requirements, TFRS, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, prepare balance-sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve accounting discrepancies in coordination with the Finance Director.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance analysis covering sales, gross margin, EBITDA, cash flow, working capital, and cost efficiency.
• Oversee manufacturing costing, inventory accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, liquidity, and cash-flow monitoring.
• Maintain effective internal controls, identify financial and compliance risks, document findings, and support corrective actions, fraud prevention, and sound governance.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits and ensure timely follow-up on audit findings.
• Support tax filings and compliance relating to corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, BOI, customs, import/export transactions, and transfer pricing.
• Monitor relevant accounting and regulatory developments and coordinate with tax authorities and external advisers as required.
• Provide clear financial analysis and collaborate effectively with ETK Rayong departments and ETK Group finance teams.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licence required; newly certified CPAs are encouraged to apply.
• Newly qualified CPA or up to two years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or auditing; internship or practical training experience may be considered.
• Working knowledge of financial closing, financial reporting, account reconciliation, audit support, taxation, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Basic knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, applicable EU reporting requirements, Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS), and Thai taxation.
• Ability to prepare and analyse financial information, including sales, gross margin, cash flow, working capital, and operating costs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and organisational skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning.
• High level of integrity and accountability, with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
