The Senior Accountant will own key components of the monthly close and serve as a senior accounting resource across the Americas portfolio, with responsibility for journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, multi-entity reporting, and finance systems. The role will also review work prepared by the Staff Accountant, support the accounting integration of acquired businesses, and help build scalable controls and processes as the company grows.

- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
- Support multi-entity accounting operations, including intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Maintain the integrity of financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Support the administration, maintenance, and optimization of financial systems, including Sage Intacct and Ramp.
- Analyze financial data and provide meaningful insights to support business decisions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational effectiveness.
- Assist with tax filings, sales tax reporting, regulatory requirements, audits, and other accounting and finance projects as needed.
- Support the finance team in building scalable processes and controls, including the accounting integration and standardization of acquired businesses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience working in a multi-entity environment.
- Strong experience with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP/SUMIFS, data analysis, and working with large data sets.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to think critically, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning new systems, tools, and technologies.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accrual accounting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting international vendors and global payment processing.
- Knowledge of intercompany accounting and consolidations.
- Understanding of sales tax and other indirect taxes.

- Hands-on experience using Sage Intacct is preferred, but not required.
- Experience in exhibitions, events, trade shows, or a similarly deadline-driven industry is a plus.
What We’re Looking For
- A quick thinker who can identify issues, troubleshoot effectively, and implement solutions.
- A forward thinker who continuously looks for ways to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
- Someone who embraces technology and enjoys learning new systems.
- A team player who can work independently while collaborating effectively across the organization.
- A professional who takes ownership, follows through, and thrives in a dynamic, growing company.
