About the Role

Indian Electricals is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in accounting, taxation, reconciliations, banking, and financial documentation, along with hands-on knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting entries and financial transactions.
• Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, and ledger management.
• Maintain customer and vendor ledgers and complete regular reconciliations.
• Prepare and verify invoices, vouchers, payment records, and other financial documents.
• Handle bank reconciliation and resolve outstanding differences.
• Manage GST, TDS/TCS, and other taxation-related accounting activities.
• Verify purchase invoices against POs, GRNs, and supporting documents.
• Prepare payment schedules and monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and accounting records.
• Prepare monthly MIS and financial reports as required.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, customers, consultants, and management for accounting-related matters.
• Ensure proper documentation and timely completion of accounting and statutory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of practical accounting experience.
• Strong experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, ledger management, and reconciliation.
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime/Tally ERP.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS/TCS, and Income Tax-related activities.
• Experience with bank reconciliation and general ledger functions.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to independently handle accounting activities and resolve discrepancies.
• B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in electrical, trading, distribution, or B2B businesses is an added advantage.
• Strong confidentiality and numerical accuracy
