Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Viraj Retreat is looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have a B.Com qualification, strong knowledge of accounting principles, and hands-on experience with Tally.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Prepare reports related to income, expenses, and outstanding payments.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Monitor expenses and maintain proper accounting documentation.
• Assist with monthly and annual financial reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting tasks.
• Coordinate with management and other departments regarding financial matters.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good working knowledge of Tally.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and general computer operations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities efficiently.
