Senior Accountant

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger and journal entries.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS to support informed decision-making.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Conduct account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, and intercompany) and variance analysis, and correct any discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and file VAT returns with the FTA and ensure UAE Corporate Tax compliance.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow.
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts to support financial planning.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support internal and statutory audits.
• Maintain accurate financial records in SAP Business One (SAP B1).
• Prepare management reports and support cost control and profitability analysis.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
• 5 to 8 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and UAE Corporate Tax.
• Proficient in ERP and accounting software, with advanced Excel skills. SAP B1 is a plus.
