SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

About the role

As a Senior Accountant, you will handle the full set of accounts and manage day-to-day accounting operations for a Japanese food import and wholesale company.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, preparing cheque and TT payments
• Perform day-to-day accounting duties including vouchers preparation, journals input, daily payments and receipts
• Manage all matters related to Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables
• Handle month end closing, management reports and monthly inter-company reconciliation
• Assist the internal audit and external audit
• Handle administrative works
• Complete other ad hoc assignments as required

About you

• Higher diploma or above in Accounting or Finance
• At least 4-5 years relevant accounting experience in trading industry
  (Candidates with CPA firm background is preferred)
• Good command of both written and spoken English
• Able to meet tight deadlines and work independently
• Proficiency in MS Office (including MS Excel and Word)
• Well-organized and detail-oriented, self-motivated, independent
• A good team player with a strong desire to learn
