Senior Accountant - Client Accounting (Independent Pharmacy) - Remote

THE ROLE

This is a fully remote position. You will handle the day-to-day accounting that keeps our pharmacy clients running. You will work alongside Staff Accountants, Pharmacy Accounting Managers, and Advisors, own a set of recurring client work, and build real relationships with the owners you support.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and pointofsale activity
• Process accounts payable, import payroll, and submit retirement plan contributions
• Help with monthend close and prepare client financial statements
• Prepare sales and use tax returns, 1099s, payroll addbacks, and property tax returns
• Manage your work so deadlines are met accurately for clients and teammates
• Answer client questions and keep relationships strong
• Help improve our processes, including testing new accounting technology
• Use firmapproved AI tools for research, drafting, and review, and verify all AIassisted work for accuracy

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• No degree? We will also consider an associate degree in accounting or a related field plus 5 or more years of progressive accounting experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent plus 7 or more years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• QuickBooks experience; QuickBooks Online Certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail, responsive communication, and a coachable attitude
• Pharmacy or CPA firm experience is a plus, but not required
