Senior Accountant

The Nemasket Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance Department. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position will lead month-end close activities, prepare financial reports, support audits, manage allocations, reconcile accounts, and help ensure the organization's financial integrity and compliance.

What You Will Do

· Lead monthly close activities and maintain the general ledger

· Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports

· Support annual audit preparation and compliance requirements

· Manage allocation methodologies across programs and funding sources

· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

· Collaborate with finance, HR, payroll, and operational teams

· Improve financial processes, controls, documentation, and systems

What We Are Looking For

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

· 5+ years of accounting experience

· Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

· Advanced Excel skills

· Experience with nonprofit accounting preferred

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: $70,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
