Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage our accounting, statutory compliance and financial reporting. You will go beyond maintaining books and give management accurate, timely financial information for decision-making. You will also supervise the Junior Accountant.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete books of accounts, including GL, AR and AP
• Review the Junior Accountant's work and all bank, vendor and customer reconciliations
• Handle GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B) and TDS deduction, payment and returns
• Coordinate PF, ESI and payroll accounting with HR
• Complete monthly closing and prepare Trial Balance, P&L and Balance Sheet schedules
• Prepare monthly MIS: revenue, expense, profitability, budget vs actual and cash-flow reports
• Monitor receivables and ageing, and coordinate with sales/project teams on overdue payments
• Account for software projects, AMC/renewals, subscriptions and recurring revenue
• Coordinate with the CA and auditors for audits, Income Tax and ROC matters
• Maintain a compliance calendar and ensure zero avoidable penalties

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance (CA Inter / CMA Inter strongly preferred)
• Minimum 5 + years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS and account finalization
• Tally Prime and advanced MS Excel; Zoho Books or other ERP preferred
• Strong reconciliation, analytical and MIS reporting skills
• Good written and spoken English
• Integrity, accuracy and ability to manage deadlines independently
• Experience in IT, software or SaaS companies, and UAE/GCC transactions

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
